CAPL (Central Animal Pathology Laboratory) was established in 1993 to provide pathological services to local veterinary practices throughout Staffordshire. Due to rapid expansion the laboratory relocated to the Science Park at Keele University in 1995, utilising their secure environment and various support facilities, and then in 1998 onto the Keele Centre where it currently resides.
Central Animal Pathology Laboratories (CAPL) Ltd. is pleased to announce its association with Abbey Vet Services and Abbey Clinical Pathology Ltd. Through this association CAPL benefits from having the input of six veterinary pathologists to aid in the interpretation of laboratory findings. In addition, we now also have a microbiologist with specialist experience in the veterinary field.
